I love their vision of putting a contemporary spin on the old art of radio drama. If you enjoy good storytelling, take a listen. I'll bet you won't be able to put down your earbuds.

Stuff I Like: The Truth audio dramas
I came across The Truth a few weeks ago during a This American Life episode. TAL played a riveting audio drama called "Tape Delay," where the main character recorded a conversation with a woman who bailed on a date, then edited the conversation to reflect the relationship he wished he had with her. The story was so compelling and the piece was so well-produced that I immediately searched for more work from The Truth. I wasn't disappointed. For starters, check out their interpretation of the classic sci-fi story "They're Made Out of Meat" by Terry Bisson -- it's laugh out loud funny.

Back from Romantic Times and catching my breath
Yes, I know I'm missing the huge Book Expo (and I'm turning green with envy as I read my Twitter feed), but since I went to the pre-conference workshop, staying would've made my trip too long for my comfort and my budget. Ah well, there's always next year.
Right now, I'm letting the week soak in as I put things away and do laundry. The whole experience was exhilarating, scary, overwhelming, and just wow. My brain's ready to explode from everything I learned. My credit card is whining again because I discovered so many new-to-me authors I want to read. Yeah, I foresee more book budget busting in April. I'm also revising my 2012 goals (yes, again) and rethinking some career plans based on what I learned. The best part of RT: meeting people who love books as much as I do.
Sorry this post-RT post is so short, but I'm truly at a loss for words. If you love romance, RT is a must-do. I can't wait for RT 2013 in Kansas City!

NEVER LET GO is available for pre-order!
Wow, I have another novella coming out already? Yes, I do! I get to celebrate the release of my third women's fiction novella, NEVER LET GO, next Friday while I'm at Romantic Times. If you want it the day it's available, you can pre-order it directly from Musa Publishing right now.
Here's the blurb:
There is a fine line between devotion and obsession. Jessica crossed it.
Jessica Kyle believes anything is possible if she works hard for it, and that includes making Sam Girard fall in love with her. For a blissful month, she thought she was on her way to a happily ever after—until Sam dumped her.
Now Jessica’s on a campaign to win back Sam’s heart. Her plan: a makeover, both inside and out. Some strategically-timed phone calls and texts. An “accidental” meeting with her snooty rival. Maybe even a surprise visit, or two, or more. After all, Jessica isn’t about to let Sam slip from her grasp. Their love was too precious for her to simply set him free. She’ll do anything to show how much she cares about him, even if it means never, ever letting him go.
